The white acre estates team has over 25 years experience in property development and planning. The company was set up in 2011 by Managing Director Ken Whitaker. Prior to working at white acre, Ken spent 17 years running Seddon Homes Ltd – a large regional house-builder, and the residential arm of the national contractor Seddon Group.

In addition to a hands-on development background, Ken has a degree in Quantity Surveying and an MBA.  In his time as Chairman of Seddon Homes he was responsible for all aspects of running a house-building business, with a particular focus on land acquisition, planning and development. 

white acre estate’s expertise is in adding value to land and development projects through planning and advice.  Our core activities are as follows:

Land Purchase  – we buy green and brownfield sites which have development potential, with or without planning.

Site Promotion – we work with land owners to maximise the potential of their sites, bringing our expertise, contacts and experience to add value and deliver the best outcome.

Consultancy – we provide business advice and a commercial perspective to a number of companies and individuals.
