Warrington"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"ms-tableRow\">\n<div id=\"contentBox\" class=\"ms-pub-contentLayout ms-verticalAlignTop\" aria-live=\"polite\" aria-relevant=\"all\">\n<div id=\"DeltaPlaceHolderMain\">\n<div class=\"layout-col twoRowTwoColumn-top ms-verticalAlignTop layout-col-M&amp;amp;S-Site,-Glazebury twoRowTwoColumn-top-M&amp;amp;S-Site,-Glazebury ms-verticalAlignTop-M&amp;amp;S-Site,-Glazebury\">\n<div class=\"twoRowTwoColumn-top-inner twoRowTwoColumn-top-inner-M&amp;amp;S-Site,-Glazebury\">\n<div id=\"ctl00_PlaceHolderMain_ctl04__ControlWrapper_RichHtmlField\" class=\"ms-rtestate-field\" aria-labelledby=\"ctl00_PlaceHolderMain_ctl04_label\">\n<p>White Acre Estates Ltd purchased the derelict M&amp;S Site\u00a0unconditionally in June 2013.\u00a0 The 6 acre site, located in Glazebury, Warrington had historically been used as a car garage, petrol station\u00a0and\u00a0latterly as a discount clothing store.<\/p>\n<p>The various buildings on the site were in a bad state of disrepair and had been an eyesore and\u00a0target for antisocial behaviour in the past.\u00a0 The site had been the subject of two previous failed planning applications while under the control of the original owner.<\/p>\n<p>Once the site had been purchased, a masterplan was determined\u00a0based on\u00a0the residential location\u00a0&amp; profile of the village housing need.\u00a0 A scheme of 14 detached houses evolved, and plans were drawn up accordingly.\u00a0 The team canvassed opinions and ideas within the local community who were generally in favour of the redevelopment of the site for housing.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0team put together a planning application which considered the site history, ecology, topography and highways issues.\u00a0 The site was complex due to the levels\u00a0of contaminiation left by previous businesses, especially on a small\u00a0area of\u00a0the business car park which was in\u00a0greenbelt.\u00a0 Full planning permission for the proposed scheme was granted in June 2014.<\/p>\n<p>The site was sold with planning permission for 14 homes\u00a0which have now been built and are fully occupied.<\/p>\n<p>The site\u00a0at the point of purchase<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000120;
